After enjoying the Military History Museum, I stopped by another museum in Diekirch, the Historical Automobile Museum. It’s small, but the entry fee is only 5EUR, which is cheap. They mainly feature French cars from various eras, and it was quite enjoyable.
Oh man, they had a gorgeous Citroën SM. The curvature of the hood near the base of the wipers is so smooth and sexy.Peugeot had some stylish blue wheels. Adorable stuff.here were some old Citroëns too. The Traction Avant, front-wheel drive, you know. Back then, poor joint technology probably caused a lot of vibration and breakdowns. They also had some beautifully displayed classic cars from the 1910s.There were also exhibits of motorcycles, and you could see a workshop in the background. It’s a cozy exhibition space like this. It’s bright, so it’s easy to take photos. The classic cars are securely fenced off, but you can get up close and personal with the modern ones. There weren’t many exhibits related to motorsports though.
I took many photos. You can see them in large size in below linked my gallery page.
