I finally visited a mysterious car showroom that I always noticed when taking my eldest daughter to her Japanese school. It turned out to be a garage specializing in classic cars. The coveted Ford GT40 with a price tag of 15 million yen was on display. Beautiful Kawasaki Z1300 and Ducati 900SS were marked as not for sale. In the parking lot, there were Citroën trucks and the first-generation Honda City on display. Speaking of Honda, the XL250 brought back nostalgic memories. The staff pointed out, “Are you Japanese? We also have Motocompos,” and led me to several color variations of Motocompo. I even got a glimpse into the repair workshop, filled with intriguing cars. The staff kindly allowed me to look around and to take photos in this dreamlike space for car enthusiasts.
